Bingham's Notebook: 9/11 In Call of the Minotaur

I believe it was the masterful storyteller James Scott Bell who defined a book's themes as something that unfolds after the story is told. As I near the conclusion of "Call of the Minotaur," I’ve noticed a theme beginning to emerge. It is the significance of 9/11 in shaping our modern world and how it continues to affect us today. It's kind of cool, as I am revising the second book, to see this theme emerge and how it directly impacts and relates to my characters as they emerge from the 1990s into the brave new world of the 00s, which I call the "Dread Aughts".
